TIP: The easier a product goes on, the easier it will come off. The trick is to use a wet product such as liquid foundation under a dry product like face powder. The synergy allows makeup to stick fast and last.
Use oil-free foundation: Choose a formula with the mineral silica, which soaks up excess moisture, so makeup stays put. Look for it in compact and liquid versions.
Lock in liner with shadow: To keep you trusty eye pencil in place, apply powder shadow of the same color right on top of the line with an eyeliner brush. This sets waxy ingredients often found in pencils.
Shelve creamy blushes: While they can look soft and pretty, cream blushes are prone to wandering when skin is dewier than normal. For staying powder, use powder blushes, which are also easiest to blend.
Finish with powder: Counteract oiliness and sweat with a sheer face powder.
If you-re worried about powder settling into fine lines, apply lightly with a large brush.
