Easy Swaps That Save Loads Of Calories

Shaving some calories from every meal, snack, or side dish
is one of the easiest
way to reduce your overall intake.
To lose 1/2 to 1 pound a week, aim to cut

250 to 500 calories a day by making
two or three of these swaps:


* 1 can of regular soda for 1 bottle of water save 100 calories.
* Small french fries for apple slices save 270 calories.
* 1c chocolate ice cream for 1/2 c chocolate ice cream with
1/2 c sliced stawberries save 115 calories.
* Big Mac for regular hamburger save 290 calories.
* 1/2 c granola for 3/4 c high-fiber cereal save 110 calories.
* 1 Tabsp mayo for 1 tsp mustard on sandwich save 100 calories.
* 1 lg (4-1/2-inch) bagel for 2 slices light whole grain bread save
269 calories.
* 1 sm bag (1 oz) pretzels for 2c air-popped popcorn saw
47calories.
* 2 slices pizza for 1 slice cheese pizza plus 1-1/2c mixed
salad with 1 tbsp low-fat dressing save 229 calories.
